Exeter Spine Unit provides paediatric scoliosis care for children in Devon and Cornwall. Outpatient work is undertaken at the Buttercup Unit, where we have an EOS system that permits low‑radiation spine imaging. The paediatric spine MDT is hosted at that site, and surgery is currently undertaken on the Wonford site.
The successful candidate will complement colleagues currently delivering this service. Candidates should have completed a paediatric scoliosis fellowship and be competent to deliver operative and non‑operative care to these patients. The department is structured to allow dual consultant operating for the more complex cases.
