Position: Trust Grade Doctor IMT3 Equivalent

Trust Grade Doctor IMT3 Equivalent

Applicants are invited to apply for a Trust Doctor post in Haematology. This full‑time trust grade post at IMT3 level provides resident doctor cover for the inpatient Haematology ward, day case unit and haematology clinics as part of a large middle‑grade team composed of advanced nurse practitioners, haematology specialty doctors, and haematology registrars. The successful candidate will develop experience in acute Haematology.

Main

duties of the post
  • Provide resident doctor cover for the inpatient Haematology ward, day case unit and haematology clinics.
  • Support common medical and Haematology emergencies.
  • Collaborate with advanced nurse practitioners, specialty doctors, and registrars.
  • Receive support from the middle‑grade and consultant team.
Qualifications and Experience

Full registration with the General Medical Council. Experience in general medicine and ability to manage common medical and Haematology emergencies.

Working Pattern and Contract

32 hours per week. Fixed term contract until 03/08/2027 (secondment opportunity for current NHS employees).
