Exeter College's ESOL provision is thriving—our learner numbers continue to rise year on year, and we're proud of our strong success rates. As our community grows, we're welcoming increasing numbers of asylum seekers and refugees onto our programmes, and we offer courses from pre‑entry through to Level 2.

We're now looking for a passionate and experienced part‑time ESOL Teacher to join our dedicated team.

• Has experience teaching ESOL across a range of levels
• Enjoys working with diverse groups, including asylum seekers and refugees
• Brings excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Uses dynamic, engaging teaching methods
• Holds relevant ESOL/EFL qualifications (general teaching qualifications are welcome but not essential if you hold a recognised specialist ESOL/EFL teaching qualification)

Experience with
ESOL Skills for Life and supporting learners to develop strong literacy skills will be especially valued.

You'll become part of Exeter College's Professional and Adult Learning faculty
—a proactive, collaborative, and community‑focused team committed to delivering outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment. We work closely with local employers and community partners to ensure our provision meets the needs of learners and the wider region.

Please note the hourly rate includes an element for planning, marking and holiday pay.
