About the Role

This full-time permanent position involves teaching Biology across KS3‑KS5 inspiring students to explore the living world through inquiry-based and practical science. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team committed to sharing best practice and delivering engaging hands‑on lessons.

You will
  • Teach Biology using interactive experiment‑led approaches that promote curiosity and discovery
  • Support GCSE and A-Level students with exam preparation practical coursework and university pathways
  • Contribute to the schools fieldwork trips such as coastal ecology studies and conservation projects
  • Collaborate on cross‑curricular initiatives with Geography, PE and Environmental Science
  • Encourage engagement with STEM careers through guest speakers, research projects and national competitions

Experience and Qualifications
  • QTS / PGCE and degree in Biology or Life Sciences
  • Experience teaching KS3‑KS5 desirable though ECTs are welcome
