Spark Ed Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming and forward-thinking school in the Exeter area to recruit Behaviour Support Assistants to work across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
SEMH needs may include:
Challenging behaviour, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
We welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience. While previous experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour is beneficial, it is not essential.
Who We're Looking For
- A flexible, enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs
- No prior school-based experience required - full online training will be provided
- Graduates and candidates with transferable skills in childcare, psychology, youth work, or social care are encouraged to apply
- A patient, resilient, and dedicated approach to supporting children with complex needs, including Autism and ADHD
