Tutors - Devon

Quantum Scholars are currently recruiting qualified Primary teachers (QTS) and experienced Primary tutors to deliver 1‑to‑1 tuition across Devon and the surrounding areas.

This role supports pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, with tuition delivered either on school sites or off‑site in community or non‑educational settings.

This opportunity is ideal for teachers and tutors seeking a flexible, part‑time alternative to mainstream classroom teaching.

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

1‑to‑1 tutoring across Devon and the surrounding areas.

Delivery may take place on school sites or in off‑site, non‑educational settings.

Pupils may present with a range of needs, including autism, behavioural challenges, SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal.

Part‑time role with flexible hours, depending on pupil and placement requirements.

• Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or substantial tutoring experience.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable).
• Willingness and ability to travel locally across Devon.
• Experience working with pupils with autism, behavioural needs, SEMH, or alternative provision backgrounds is highly desirable.
• Calm, adaptable, and relationship‑focused approach to teaching.
