Year 1 Teacher (Part-Time)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher seeking a part-time teaching role
? We are working with welcoming and supportive primary schools who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences during this crucial stage of pupils' development.
Position: Year 1 Teacher (Part-Time)
Key Stage: KS1

As a Part-Time Year 1 Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting pupils as they transition through KS1, helping to develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 1
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles
- Assess and monitor pupil progress using formative assessment strategies
- Provide clear, supportive feedback to aid pupil development
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to planning, meetings, and professional development as required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in KS1 is desirable, though ECTs are encouraged to apply
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A nurturing, patient approach and a passion for early education
