Lunchtime Supervisor Primary School (Exeter)
Flexible Supply / Ad-hoc Work 2 3 Hour Shifts

Teacher Active is currently recruiting Lunchtime Supervisors to support welcoming and friendly primary schools in the Exeter area. This role is offered on a flexible supply / ad-hoc basis, making it ideal for individuals looking for part-time work during school hours, with the potential to move into longer-term opportunities in the future.

This role involves supervising pupils during lunch breaks and helping to maintain a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for children.

The Role:

• Supervising children in the dining hall and playground during lunchtime

• Supporting pupils with safe behaviour and encouraging positive play

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children during break times

• Helping maintain a calm and organised lunchtime environment

• Reporting any concerns to school staff where necessary

Shift Pattern:

• 2 3 hour shifts during school lunchtime

• Flexible supply work, depending on school needs

• Opportunities to move into regular or longer-term roles for the right candidates

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children (school, childcare, coaching, youth work or similar)

• A friendly, patient and approachable manner

• Good awareness of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

• The ability to manage behaviour positively and encourage inclusive play

• Reliability and a proactive attitude
