Tutor Area Manager (TAM) (INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

We’re looking for an existing Programme Leader (0.8 or 1.0

FTE) who is enthusiastic and committed to providing pastoral support to learners, becoming part of our supportive and ambitious team at Exeter College as a Tutorial Area Manager (TAM).

In this role, you’ll work closely with your linked faculties to ensure learners are fully supported through the college tutorial programme, helping them achieve their best possible outcomes and reach their full potential. You’ll also have opportunities to work collaboratively across the college, contributing to initiatives such as the Personal Development Programme, Welcome Days, and ACE Days.

• work closely with curriculum teams across Business, Travel and Adventure and Sport and Physical Education

• is passionate about the impact tutoring can have on young people
• brings a creative, solution-focused approach to supporting learners
• has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• feels confident managing challenging conversations with learners and parents
• can build strong relationships with staff, learners and families
• is enthusiastic about driving high expectations and continuous improvement
