The successful applicant will work across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a range of secondary schools in the Exeter area. Roles include a maternity leave cover (May 2026‑May 2027) and a permanent teaching position starting May, as well as additional permanent roles commencing September.

• Teach English to KS3 and KS4 pupils, delivering curriculum‑aligned lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs and support progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the department’s planning.
• Complete necessary administrative duties and reporting.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an English specialism.
• Experience teaching to Key Stage 4/KS4.
• Excellent classroom management skills and adaptability.
