16.25 hrs per week, Monday to Friday (dependent on Timetabling)

ResponsibilitiesCo-ordinate, plan and deliver a KS3 and GCSE languages programme. Monitor and track progress for students, and report data appropriately. Be able to facilitate languages GCSE options in the future.
As well as the core responsibilities detailed above, other key areas of accountabilities and tasks include: to contribute to raising standards of student attainment; sharing and supporting the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Professional Standards for TeachersAll teachers are required to carry out the duties of a teacher as set out in the current School Teachers Pay & Conditions document and the national Teachers’ Standards level of practice.
Qualifications and RequirementsThey will hold Qualified Teacher Status (must complete QTS or QTLS within 12 months of appointment) and are a graduate in a relevant subject level and DfE recognised. The candidate should be dynamic, highly professional, and committed to developing students’ understanding and application of written and oral language.
