Hairdressing Teacher

Job Description and Person Specification

We are looking for a talented and experienced hair professional to teach across Level 2 and Level 3 hairdressing qualifications.

This is a part‑time role with no weekend working. You may be required to teach an evening session during term time in our commercial salons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional content for Level 2 and Level 3 hairdressing qualifications.
• Assess students and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor and support learners with enrichment opportunities.
• Prepare and update teaching resources and lesson plans.
• Adhere to the College’s safeguarding and welfare policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Positive and approachable attitude.
• Passionate and pro‑active commitment to teaching.
• Relevant hairdressing or barbering experience and qualifications.
• Ability to work part‑time with flexibility for evening sessions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.
