Position: Project Officer (CTEC/TIE)

Job Description and Person Specification

Are you passionate about making a real difference to education, skills and workforce development? Do you enjoy organising activity, managing information and ensuring things run smoothly? We’re looking for a Project Officer to support the delivery of the Construction Technical Excellence College (CTEC) and Teacher Industry Exchange (TIE) programmes across the south west.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate programme activity, support events and placements, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure reporting and compliance requirements are met and that the programmes remain audit‑ready.
  • Support stakeholder communications, manage programme data, and track actions and milestones.
  • Provide essential administrative and project support to keep both programmes organised, responsive and efficient.
Qualifications
  • Highly organised, proactive and detail‑focused with strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in an administrative, project support or programme coordination role is essential.
  • Experience with in further education, skills, employer engagement or externally funded programmes would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
