SEND Learning Support Assistant | Newham | September 2026 Start Are you a graduate with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs? A welcoming and highly inclusive primary school in Newham is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis until July 2027 , with the potential to extend beyond the academic year.

This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Teaching or wider SEND professions. The Role You will provide 1:1, small-group and classroom support for pupils with a range of additional needs across the primary phase. Alongside supporting learning, you will help develop pupils' communication, emotional regulation, confidence and independence through carefully planned interventions. You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to monitor progress and adapt support to meet individual needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils while developing highly transferable skills within a supportive school environment.
