SEND Learning Support Assistant What the School Offers £444 £ 513 per week via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay) Full academic year contract until July 2027 with potential extension Weekly CPD focused on SEND, behaviour management and safeguarding Opportunities to work alongside experienced SENDCos, Educational Psychologists and Speech & Language Therapists Structured training in Autism, ADHD and communication strategies Excellent preparation for teacher training, Master's degrees, NHS careers and Educational Psychology pathways A collaborative staff team committed to inclusion and professional development
The Role You will provide 1:1, small-group and classroom support for pupils with a range of additional needs across the primary phase. Alongside supporting learning, you will help develop pupils' communication, emotional regulation, confidence and independence through carefully planned interventions. You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to monitor progress and adapt support to meet individual needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils while developing highly transferable skills within a supportive school environment.
