Location: Hybrid, UK-wide travel

Role Type: Senior commercial/category leadership

Role Summary

This role oversees the expansion of the Outdoor & Civils Systems division. The remit covers underground drainage, DPC/DPM, geotextiles, porcelain paving, decking, fencing systems, and associated civils materials. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of external works, groundworks supply chains, and civils distribution networks.

Required Sector Experience (Essential)
  • External landscaping products (porcelain tiles, paving systems).
  • Decking (composite or timber), fencing and outdoor structures.
  • Working with specialist civils distributors, landscaping merchants, or groundworks contractors.
  • Familiarity with installation methods, load specifications, and industry standards (e.g., BS EN standards for drainage) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new customer accounts across civils, groundworks, and landscaping contractors.
  • Build supplier partnerships with drainage manufacturers, outdoor materials producers, and civils systems suppliers.
  • Develop a scalable product portfolio aligned to demand trends in landscaping and civils.
  • Conduct supplier visits, review manufacturing capability, and negotiate pricing and commercial models.
  • Provide market insights on drainage availability, paving trends, and competitive ranges.
  • Support onboarding of technical product data, compliance certifications, and logistics requirements.
  • Act as the face of the category at trade shows and distributor events.
