Overview
Graduate Engineering Geologist EXETER. Our client has been providing specialist geotechnical, site and land services to local authorities and blue-chip clients in the highways, construction, environmental and utilities sectors for over 30 years.
Responsibilities- Assisting with site-based ground investigation works
- Logging soil and rock samples to relevant standards
- Supervising drilling and in-situ testing
- Collecting and interpreting geotechnical and geo-environmental data
- Supporting the preparation of factual and interpretative reports
- Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering
- Willingness to work on site and travel as required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Structured graduate training and mentoring
- Exposure to a wide variety of projects and ground conditions
