Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a highly-regarded, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for delivering their expertise throughout the engineering and environmental landscapes, delivering major, exciting projects across the UK. They are currently searching for a motivated, experienced Senior Hydrologist, keen to lead a high-performing team and deliver on an extensive range of projects, whilst contributing to Business Development (BD) activities.
You will be based near the vibrant, historical city of Exeter.

- Prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRA), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and drainage assessment reports
- Oversee aspects of project submissions, including tenders, quality assurance, etc.
- Self-manage your involvement with a range of hydrology projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest of standards, to agreed timescales and budgets
- Produce hydrological and hydraulic calculations
- Liaise with key clients and stakeholders
- Provide leadership to, and mentor, colleagues within the team, guiding them through their professional development
- UK Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Considerable experience of working in a hydrological role, within a UK-based consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
- High-level proficiency in the use of relevant software systems, including FEH, WINFAP, Flood Modeller, HEC-RAS, WinDES, and AutoCAD
- Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Technically-minded with excellent report-writing skills
- An advanced qualification in a relevant discipline
- Chartered Status with a relevant, recognised Professional Body, or actively pursuing this
- Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
