We are working on behalf of a well-established civil engineering organisation based in with offices in Exeter and Cornwall, seeking a talented Chartered Structural/Civil Engineer to join their growing technical team. This position offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across Devon and Cornwall while being part of a supportive, respected engineering environment.

The successful candidate will play a central role in the design and assessment of civil structures, with a significant focus on bridge design. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions across a wide range of local infrastructure schemes.

The role provides flexibility to work across multiple office locations across Devon and Cornwall reporting into head office, giving you excellent flexible working options. Key requirements

• Ideally holding chartered status with either IStruct
  
  E or ICE
• Proven experience in the design of civil structures, ideally including bridges
• Strong technical capability and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and external partners
• Experience delivering projects from concept through detailed design
