Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Graduate Engineer (R&D/Product Development)

At Oxi-Tech Solutions, we design and develop innovative systems that generate ozone in water to eliminate the need for chemical disinfectants. Our technology is used across industries including dairy and beverage production, helping deliver cleaner, more sustainable processes.

We’re a small, fast-moving engineering team based in Exeter, and we’re offering a
paid Summer 2
026 internship (salary pro rota) where you’ll work directly on live products and real engineering challenges.

What you’ll be doing

This isn’t a watch and learn internship. From early on, you’ll get stuck into practical engineering work and take ownership of defined tasks.

You’ll:

  • Help build, assemble, and test working systems in our workshop and test environments
  • Work across
    mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems
    , gaining true multidisciplinary experience
  • Support product development and prototyping activities
  • Assist with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Create and improve engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Capture, analyse, and report test data
  • Contribute to improving how we test and develop our products

By the end of the internship, you’ll have delivered real outputs—whether that’s documented designs, improved test processes, or completed engineering tasks.

What you’ll gain
  • Hands-on experience with real engineering systems (not just theory)
  • Exposure toR&D and product development in a live environment
  • A strong understanding of how complex systems come together
  • The chance to work closely with experienced engineers in a small, supportive team
  • Potential opportunity for a longer‑term role
About you

We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn and not afraid to get involved.

You should:

  • Be currently studying (or recently completed) a degree in
    Mechanical, Electrical, or General Engineering
  • Enjoy practical, hands‑on work as well as problem‑solving
  • Be curious about how systems work and willing to learn across disciplines
  • Have good attention to detail, especially when documenting work
  • Be proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • CAD (e.g. Solid Works)
  • Engineering drawings or schematics
  • Sensors, wiring, or control systems
  • Lab or testing environments

If you’re looking for an internship where you’ll actually do engineering, not just observe it, we’d like to hear from you.
