Graduate Mechanical Engineer

About the role

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will work as part of the Mechanical Team to support the delivery of multi‑disciplined projects. You will be based in the office for mechanical design work, or on site supporting delivery and commissioning depending on the project phase. You will work alongside a commissioning engineer and a supportive team that will provide opportunities to progress and develop your skills.

• Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept, through detailed design, procurement and construction to client handback
• Undertake engineering calculations and utilise digital techniques to produce the design
• Liaise with sub‑contractors and suppliers
• Approve drawings and designs of suppliers
• Oversee the activity of sub‑contractors and suppliers on site
• Assist with maintaining a world‑class safety culture, including health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post‑graduate qualification (MSc)
• Valid driving licence
• Confidence, motivation, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and problem‑solve
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
