A long‑established, reputable and genuinely lovely family‑run refrigeration and air‑conditioning business in Exeter is expanding their team — and they’re looking for a Senior Refrigeration Engineer and a Senior Refrigeration Engineer who can Project Manage who wants stability, variety, and a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

🌟 The Role - Senior Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer

You’ll be travelling across the South West attending a wide variety of client sites — from dentists and doctors’ surgeries to freezer rooms, manufacturing facilities and commercial premises. No two days look the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Attending customer sites to diagnose and resolve refrigeration or air‑conditioning issues

* Problem‑solving and identifying the best technical solutions

* Pricing jobs and providing clear, accurate information to customers

* Delivering excellent customer service and representing the business professionally

* Completing paperwork and ensuring compliance standards are met

There are two opportunities within the team:

1️⃣ Senior Refrigeration Engineer (Technical Focus)

Perfect for someone who wants to focus on hands‑on engineering, fault‑finding and customer visits.

2️⃣ Senior Refrigeration Engineer with Project Management

Ideal for a more experienced engineer who wants to take on additional responsibility, including:

* Managing projects from initial enquiry to completion

* Ensuring quotes are sent and followed up

* Scheduling jobs and coordinating workloads

* Overseeing effective billing and job management

* Acting as a key point of contact for customers

🎓 What You’ll Need

To be considered, you must hold one of the following:

* NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or

* F‑Gas and ODS Regulations certification

You’ll also be:

* Reliable, hardworking and committed

* A natural problem‑solver

* Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly

* Comfortable working independently and as part of a close‑knit team

* Customer‑focused with strong communication skills
