The Job Youll Do. Working as part of a small Product Development Team Use 2D CAD skills to create Client Approval drawings for bespoke products. Use 3D CAD skills to create designs for bespoke products in alignment with customer requirements Work closely with members of the manufacturing team to improve designs and work within the principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Responsible for the NPI of bespoke projects, product customisation, range extensions, and standard product improvements, taking products from initial enquiry to production, including costing, concept and detail design, prototyping and production drawings and work instructions.

Actively seek opportunities to develop products and processes in order to improve profitability and quality. Aim to exceed the expectations of customers and clients, through the realisation into manufacture of well-designed products and providing excellent customer service. Represent the Company by attending meetings, visiting clients premises, and conducting site surveys. Follow health and safety instructions provided and safeguard your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions.

About You;
Working knowledge of 2D / 3D CAD software (AutoCAD & Solid Works preferable) Degree/HND in Product Design or Engineering (preferable) Detail oriented and conscientious with good problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office

Experience of the creation of manufacturing drawings and information. Clean, full UK driving licence. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively to resolve problems A continuous improvement approach to work, constantly seeking feedback and reviewing options for improvements
