Are you a newly qualified Civil Engineer ready to kickstart your career in a supportive, handson engineering environment? We're looking for a bright, motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Exeter, working on a wide range of infrastructure, drainage, roads, and structural design projects across the South West.
As a graduate engineer, you'll work alongside experienced chartered engineers on real projects that matter, from residential developments and highways design to sustainable drainage systems and complex civil engineering solutions. You'll gain valuable experience across the full project lifecycle, developing technical skills, design confidence, and professional competence.
What You'll Do
· Support design and technical delivery of civil engineering projects including infrastructure, roads, drainage, and sustainable solutions.
· Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications using engineering software and CAD tools.
· Assist with site visits, surveys, and collaborate with senior engineers to solve practical challenges.
· Contribute to project documentation, reports, and compliance checks to meet technical and regulatory standards.
· Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders professionally and proactively.
What We're Looking For
· A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
· A strong academic record with an eagerness to learn and develop.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to balance multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
· Enthusiasm for structural and civil engineering projects that make a real impact.
