  • Ensure works are only initiated in line with approved budgets and Board‑sanctioned governance.
  • Present monthly programme forecasts, proactively managing risks, changes, and budget variances.
  • Lead audits across Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee engineering solutions to ensure compliance with standards and protection of water quality and public health.
  • Manage programme risks through a robust risk register, ensuring no surprises to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop, and support high‑performing teams through clear objectives, regular reviews, and development plans.
Essential requirements
  • Strong NEC contract experience (NEC3/NEC4)
  • Client‑side or asset owner experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable requirements
  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., water, utilities, infrastructure)
  • Knowledge of AMP cycles / regulatory frameworks (if applicable)
  • Programme controls experience (e.g., cost forecasting, Primavera P6, earned value)
  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer, APM, or equivalent)
What's in it for you?

We know our people drive our success — so we’re committed to offering an excellent range of benefits, including:
