Job Description
Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller. You can be based in one of our UK or Ireland offices while also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.
You will be a key player in delivering impactful water projects across the UK and internationally, assisting with flood alleviation, pollution reduction, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities- Deliver: Build hydraulic models and perform verification of sewer networks; run integrated model development; support scoping and planning of projects including flow survey verification; develop catchment‑scale strategic solutions for flooding and pollution risks.
- Expertise: Deliver technical innovation such as new technologies; solve problems for clients and develop scopes and tender responses.
- Documentation: Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations and documentation to communicate modelling findings.
- Lead: Mentor and support other team members in their professional development and foster positive client relationships.
- Quality: Act as a checker of hydraulic models, calculations and technical reports to ensure quality team delivery and compliance with modelling specifications.
- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering or a related subject.
- Experience in hydraulic modelling, GIS or data analysis, particularly ArcGIS or Map Info.
- Knowledge of hydraulic modelling or asset management, particularly Innovyze ICM or Info Asset.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously, a strong sense of commitment, willingness to learn and a desire to work in a deadline‑driven team environment.
