Project Planner - Water Industry

Stantec’s continued success in delivering for the UK's leading utility providers and major infrastructure developers has created an exciting opportunity for a Project Planner to join our growing Major Projects Delivery team. This role will be based at our offices in Bristol or Exeter, with hybrid working allowing for a great work-life balance. We are looking for an experienced planner to collaborate with a national team, taking on a variety of projects, primarily within water sector Design & Construction (D&C). As a Project Planner, you will be instrumental in all project phases—from pre‑construction and design to final delivery. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

• Ability to manage complex projects, programmes and change within D&C in accordance with the contract and client requirements
• Experience using Primavera P6 is essential
• Solid understanding of D&C sequencing and interfaces
• Familiarity with NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
• Previous experience in the water sector is beneficial but not essential
