The Opportunity:

What a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with experience of Automation , industrial robots , control systems , CMM programming and/or CAM. The Automation Engineer will join a rapidly expanding large engineering firm in Exeter, working on developing automated manufacturing processes throughout the entire business. This is a huge area of growth for them, and will see the business becoming one of the key robotic facilities in the South West.

The Role:

Create, verify, and release robot programs for automated cells and manufacturing equipment.
Design and deliver tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
Creating supporting documentation for automated equipment (SOP and EMS)
Responsible for program storage, data back-ups and revision control for manufacturing equipment.

Preferred Skills:

Minimum of five years experience programming one of the following:
Industrial robots, Control systems, CNC Milling or EDM Machines, combined with an in depth knowledge of automation systems.
Candidates with less experience than 5 years will be considered, but it is essential you have a minimum of 1 year, plus a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturi...
