The Workshop Generator Engineer position is ideal for an experienced engineer who wants to work within a skilled technical team, maintaining and repairing specialist power equipment in a dedicated workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Workshop Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, servicing and repairing generator equipment within a specialist workshop environment based in Exeter.
  • Your typical day will involve diagnosing faults, completing planned maintenance, carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs, preparing equipment for customer requirements and ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • You will work as part of a knowledgeable engineering team, using your technical skills to keep critical power equipment operating efficiently.
About You (Skills & Experience):

To succeed in this Workshop Generator Engineer role, you will ideally have experience working with generators, engines, electrical systems or similar heavy engineering equipment.

You should have:

  • A strong mechanical and electrical engineering background
  • Experience fault finding and repairing power generation equipment or related machinery
