Home, a place where you belong

This is a great opportunity to join our team. As our Housing Management Co‑ordinator, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring they understand their licence/tenancy agreements, and make sure their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long‑term accommodation!

What

you’ll do
  • Make sure that our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of, by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
  • Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are received on their rent account.
  • Issue and sign warning letters and notices when needed, potentially leading to attending court.
  • Prepare rooms for the next customers, ensuring maximum occupancy by turning around vacant or void rooms, bed spaces, or properties within set timescales.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and that maintenance standards are met.

This is more than a job, it’s a place where you feel valued. You get great training, support from friendly colleagues and a chance to make a real difference every day.

You have
  • Experience in managing a housing caseload and handling landlord and housing management duties.
  • Know‑how of re‑letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
  • Ability to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
  • Confidence in working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.
The practical bits
  • Working 5 days out of 7, including some weekends, on a rolling rota, shift time 10am to 6pm.
  • Based at our service in Exeter and spending time with customers at our move‑on properties in the city centre.
  • Must be able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims, and doing tenancy sign‑ups.
  • Require an Enhanced DBS check (paid by the company).
  • 34 days leave, rising to 39 (including bank holidays and a “me day”).
  • 800+ discounts on shops, holidays, days out, tech and more.
  • Instant pay access with Stream.
  • Matching pension contribution (up to 7%) and life insurance of 3× basic salary.
