Home, a place where you belongThis is a great opportunity to join our team. As our Housing Management Co‑ordinator, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring they understand their licence/tenancy agreements, and make sure their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long‑term accommodation!
Whatyou’ll do
- Make sure that our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of, by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are received on their rent account.
- Issue and sign warning letters and notices when needed, potentially leading to attending court.
- Prepare rooms for the next customers, ensuring maximum occupancy by turning around vacant or void rooms, bed spaces, or properties within set timescales.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and that maintenance standards are met.

You have- Experience in managing a housing caseload and handling landlord and housing management duties.
- Know‑how of re‑letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
- Ability to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
- Confidence in working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.
- Working 5 days out of 7, including some weekends, on a rolling rota, shift time 10am to 6pm.
- Based at our service in Exeter and spending time with customers at our move‑on properties in the city centre.
- Must be able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims, and doing tenancy sign‑ups.
- Require an Enhanced DBS check (paid by the company).
