Overview

Researching, analysing market trends and report writing are core duties of Chase de Vere paraplanners. Our paraplanners work closely with financial advisers and client support teams to deliver advice and provide ongoing services to new and existing clients. Supported by experienced paraplanning management and development teams, you will work on a wide range of client cases of varying complexity and continually develop your skill and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on clients’ financial planning arrangements, both existing and recommended, to ensure that client needs and objectives are met.
  • Undertake investment portfolio analysis, including asset allocation analysis in line with the client’s stated attitude to risk.
  • Compile investment, pension and protection illustrations, projections and associated documentation.
  • Write technical and accurate suitability reports and client service agreement letters.
  • Ensure client files comply with FCA regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge is essential: you should have secured a number of your financial planning (R0) qualifications and be striving to complete your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
  • Experience in a paraplanning role is essential: a minimum of 2 years as a paraplanner is required.
  • Teamwork and collaboration are vitally important. You must be willing to support colleagues on complex reports and urgent tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
