An established Devon based accountancy firm are looking for a Manager (Healthcare) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

, providing expert accountancy, taxation, and business support to healthcare professionals, medical partnerships, and limited companies.

You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, oversee workflow within the department, and play a hands‑on role in mentoring junior colleagues. This is a role for someone who enjoys both client interaction and team leadership, and who wants to grow within a respected and expanding firm.

• Oversee the administration and progress of client portfolios, ensuring deadlines are met
• Prepare or review accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns
• Manage client billing and assist with departmental planning
• Support and train junior team members
• Liaise with Partners on client issues and one-off projects
• Build relationships with clients, providing high‑quality, practical advice
• Contribute to marketing and business development activities

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge in accounts and tax
• Excellent communication skills and confidence leading a team
• Organised, motivated, and commercially aware
• Experience working with clients in the medical or dental sectors is desirable but not essential
