Assistant Accountant; Part- time

£30,000 – £32,000 Pro Rata | Part Time (3–4 Days per Week) | Exeter (Hybrid Working)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant or Finance Assistant seeking a flexible, part-time role within a collaborative and friendly team. You will support a wide range of finance activities, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage purchase ledger processes, ensuring invoices are coded, authorised, and paid on time
• Support credit control activities, including monitoring debtor balances and resolving queries
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and general finance team support

• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Assistant, or similar role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software such as Quick Books is advantageous
