An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established and rapidly growing South West business. This is a senior finance position supporting the production of management accounts across multiple entities, offering genuine long-term progression opportunities within a successful and forward-thinking organisation.

This opportunity would suit a commercially minded finance professional with strong management accounting experience, ideally within a multi‑site or fast‑paced commercial environment, who is looking to take the next step in their career.

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
• Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Assisting with financial reporting requirements and audit preparation
• Supporting continuous improvement of finance systems and processes
• Providing support and cover for the Finance Manager where required
• Maintaining accurate accounting and management information systems
• Building strong working relationships across the wider business
• Supporting professional development and best practice within the finance team
• Liaising with external stakeholders including suppliers, professional bodies and auditors

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA ideally) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand wider business operations
• Previous experience within a fast‑paced commercial environment
• Advanced Excel and strong systems experience
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Proactive, organised and detail‑oriented approach
