Your role as a Private Client Tax Manager:
  • Managing a portfolio of private client cases, including trusts and HNW individuals.
  • Drafting reports and correspondence covering areas such as IHT planning, residence, and domicile.
  • Meeting with clients to understand their tax planning needs and provide tailored advice.
  • Delivering CGT advice on property, shares, and other assets for both UK and non-UK residents.
  • Reviewing work completed by junior team members and supporting their development.
  • Overseeing compliance services, including preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other specialist services within the firm.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and handling queries confidently.
  • Liaising with HMRC, solicitors, and other professional bodies to ensure excellent client service.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Proven experience in a mixed tax compliance and advisory role.
  • ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong up-to-date technical knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of current tax regulations and compliance standards.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.
  • Professional, discreet, and confident in building client relationships.
