Bookkeeper

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are supporting a business who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a fixed term contract basis for 9 months. This opportunity has the potential to be extended and can either be based in Plymouth or Exeter. Start Date : ASAP Duration: 12 months, with potential of extension

Location:

Plymouth or Exeter Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

Working hours:

9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch break Responsibilities:
Maintaining the accounts payable ledger Maintaining the accounts receivable ledger Bank reconciliations Assisting with month end - accruals, prepayments Assisting with client reporting Liaising and resolving client queries Self-assessment tax returns Assisting with ad hoc finance tasks to assist the wider business Desired experience/background:
Proven experience in a similar varied position Initiative to work in both individually and in a team environment High attention to detail Excellent communication Computer literate Experience using Xero - Desirable Studied or currently studying AAT - Desirable Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
