Senior Financial Planner

Overview

We are working with a large regional professional services and wealth management company to secure an experienced Financial Planner, at a senior level, to join them in their Exeter office. The role will be taking over an existing portfolio of high-net-worth clients alongside building upon these by networking with internal stakeholders as well external introducers. You will be provided with full paraplanning and admin support.

Ideally, our clients are seeking somebody that has the ability and gravitas to manage other Financial Planners in the team. The role would then evolve into a player/manager opportunity once you get to know the company and the team.

• Take over an existing portfolio of high-net-worth clients and build upon it by networking with internal stakeholders and external introducers.
• Provide leadership by potentially managing other Financial Planners in the team; evolve into a player/manager role.
• Work with full paraplanning and administrative support.

• 3+ years experience providing holistic financial planning services
• Experience of managing other advisers – mentoring, training and sales management
• Strong performer with the ability to generate business
• Ability to structure business development incentives/plans to attract new clients
• At least Level 4 qualified, ideally Chartered

Ideally, you would also be used to dealing with HNW clients with varied advice needs.
