Finance Manager

Finance Manager Milton Keynes | Permanent | Full-Time Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading international organisation based in Milton Keynes for a Finance Manager to join their established finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance and team leadership within a growing and highly regarded business.

The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the delivery of accurate financial reporting, management accounts, compliance activities and transactional finance oversight across the UK business.

Key Responsibilities Produce monthly management accounts, reports and financial information for group reporting purposes. Lead and support the Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices and expenses are processed accurately and on time. Oversee Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions. Prepare and post general ledger journals and maintain accurate financial records. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.

Manage VAT reporting, MTD submissions and associated compliance activities. Support internal and external audit processes. Work closely with UK and international stakeholders to support business growth and financial reporting requirements. Assist with process improvements and the ongoing development of financial procedures and controls. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar finance leadership role. Experience supervising or managing finance staff. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems. AAT qualification, degree, or be studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach. High levels of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
