What is an EOC Triage Clinician?

An EOC Triage Clinician provides a robust remote clinical assessment and triage of all patients and service users who contact 999. Alongside this, our Clinicians work alongside our Emergency Medical Dispatchers and Dispatch colleagues to provide acute medical advice and guidance to ensure every patient is getting the right care at the right time.

What support and development do I get as a clinician?

Within the EOC, we have a team of highly experienced Clinical Team Leaders and Senior Clinicians who support and guide the clinical workforce when needed.

The Trust has recently been awarded the NHS Pastoral Care Quality Award, meeting the required standard for best practice pastoral care. This demonstrates the Trust’s commitment to staff wellbeing for both potential and existing employees.

We provide all clinicians with access to CPD opportunities, higher education modules, funded short courses, free CPD events and e‑learning platforms.

Depending on your career ambitions, we also offer great career development opportunities either clinically or operationally.
