We are a leading small independent pharmacy operator with a commitment to excellent community healthcare. Based in the South-West of England, we take pride in serving our local communities with professional and personalised pharmaceutical services.

Role Description

You will be working alongside our Superintendent Pharmacist as a second Pharmacist but will be encouraged and supported to develop this role in both Clinical and Managerial areas.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located at Luxtons Pharmacy the Greater Exeter Area. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications accurately, providing professional healthcare advice, and counseling patients on the safe use of medications.

The role also involves advising on minor health issues, managing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain inventory control within the pharmacy.

As we offer a wide range of extended role both privately and on behalf of the NHS including a busy Travel and Weight service.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations, prescription dispensing, and medication and NHS services
  • Ability to provide professional advice, patient counselling, and manage minor ailments with a customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills to collaborate with both staff and healthcare professionals
  • Proven ability to manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and provide operational support
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Ideally an Independent Prescribing Qualification or keen to develop your prescribing skills
  • Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is a must have
