This is an exciting new opportunity for a newly qualified pharmacist with a desire to specialise or learn more about mental health and the role of the pharmacist within the speciality.
The successful applicant will have a hybrid role supporting the community pharmacy team primarily but with opportunities to cover inpatient units. This will offer a fantastic foundation and experience of working with our excellent mediicnes iptimisation team across all dimesnions of mental health services.
Main duties of the jobThe principle duties will include clinically screening prescriptions, completing medication histories, supporting patients with decisions about medicines and ensuring the safe and cost effective use of medicines.
If the successful candidate is a qualified prescriber, we will also support the development of your prescribing skills and ensure a rounded introduction to a career as a clinical pharmacist.
