Stretching across Northern, Eastern and Mid Devon, we have a workforce of over 15,000 staff, making us the largest employer in Devon. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of a modern, integrated microbiology service within a Trust recognised for innovation, collaboration, and patient-centred care.

Our Microbiology departments support comprehensive diagnostic services across both acute sites and are fully UKAS accredited to ISO 15189
.

The team includes experienced Biomedical Scientists, Clinical Scientists, and Consultants covering bacteriology, virology, mycology, infection control, and antimicrobial stewardship.

You will work closely with colleagues in Infection Prevention & Control, Infectious Diseases, and the wider Pathology Network to deliver safe, responsive, and clinically effective services.

Working Pattern:
Monday - Friday 9-5
