We are looking for an enthusiastic, well‑motivated individual to join our friendly team of Radiographers, Technologists, Nursing and Admin staff in this Foundation Trust Hospital. Based within the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital site at Wonford, the department performs a wide range of Nuclear Medicine examinations; around 2800 examinations per year, approximately 75 % of which are for Oncology patients. The department is equipped with two gamma cameras, one of which is a hybrid SPECT/CT machine, and an in‑house Radiopharmacy.
We are at the early stages of planning to replace the second camera with another SPECT/CT system.
Successful applicants will take an active role in radiopharmaceutical manufacture and dispensing, patient imaging and data processing. Assisting with and administering radiopharmaceuticals also forms a significant part of the role.

Job responsibilitiesMore detail about the role
For a band 6 position, we would expect a senior radiographer / technologist with 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine at a Post‑Graduate level. We would expect the successful applicant to have (or be working towards) a relevant post‑graduate qualification. Previous experience in SPECT‑CT and/or PET would be an advantage, but not essential. In‑house training for Radiopharmacy and administration of Radiopharmaceuticals will be provided.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously are essential requirements for appointment. For less experienced applicants, appointment at Band 5 may be considered.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2026‑7 rates, inclusive of a 3.3 % pay award implemented from April 2026. If you join before this date, remuneration will be based on the 2025‑6 pay bandings.
