  • To provide a full and efficient administrative support to the MS Nurses, consultants and clinical teams. This will include proof reading, minute taking, diary management and ensuring that all documentation is produced to an excellent standard.
  • To manage the Blue Teq high cost drug management system which will include liaising with the Neurology Consultants and Pharmacy team and ensuring that accurate data is maintained.
  • Collect and analyse data to provide weekly/monthly reports to the MS Management and Multidisciplinary teams.
  • To organise and co‑ordinate meetings
  • Overlook and book MS clinics for nursing staff.
  • Ensure all information is secure and confidentiality of information is maintained at all times
  • Provide excellent customer care which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy
  • Use multiple computer systems as required within the department such as EPIC (MyCare), MS Office applications
  • Ensure the professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times
  • Adhering to Trust policies, systems and procedures (including the Trusts’ Confidentiality policy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administrator to join the Multiple Sclerosis team based at Mardon Rehabilitation Centre as an MS Clinical Co‑ordinator to support the management of the MS Service.

This role requires the individual to have strong administration skills including, communication and interpersonal skills. You will be a conscientious and motivated team player with excellent organisational skills. You will be flexible and adaptable with excellent IT skills. You will need to enjoy the challenge of working as part of a busy team yet have the ability to use your own initiative to meet the changing needs of the MS Service.
