£31,980 - £35,880 (including sleep-in shifts)

Our client, a leading specialist provider in Exeter, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a modern, semi‑independent residential home supporting young adults aged 16‑18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, and your support will help young people develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally in a safe, caring setting.

• Encourage young adults to participate in activities and take responsibility for their lives
• Maintain a homely, friendly environment to promote positive development
• Manage challenging behaviours safely and sympathetically
• Protect young people from risks to their health and welfare
• Support independence and well‑being through personalized care plans
• Ensure a safe and secure environment at all times
• Build strong relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people’s lives
• Support young people according to their care plans, reward systems, and communication preferences

• Experience as a Children’s Residential Support Worker or working with young people is desirable but not essential
• Experience with in healthcare or social care settings is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence is essential, as transportation of young people may be required
• Must be over 21 years old and able to commute to Exeter

• 40 hours per week
• Shift pattern: 9am – 10pm, sleep-in & 7am – 9am
