Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist – Exeter Hospital

Full‑time permanent contract, up to £27,900 per annum depending on experience, 40 hours per week.

In this entry role within the Physiology department, you will support health and wellbeing by delivering assessments, promoting fitness, and working with a multidisciplinary team in NHS and private services.

• Join a multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete an in‑house three‑week training course.
• Help promote health and fitness as part of a holistic, comprehensive service.
• Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals.
• Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.
• Complete the award‑winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months.
• Assist in a training camp in London during weeks two and three of the initial four‑week programme.

• Minimum 2:2 Sport or Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/ biomechanics, psychology and nutrition, with practical application skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Required to travel within the region of your base site; role is mobile.
