A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent and experienced state registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our wonderful team of Scientists, based in Exeter Histology Department.
About the RoleAssist in the day to day running of the department under the supervision of a senior BMS/Laboratory Manager. Be competent and experienced in all relevant methodologies used in histological investigations and techniques. Apply up to date knowledge of histological techniques in undertaking testing of specimens and the interpretation of histology investigations.
We will only be shortlisting candidates with recent experience in a histology laboratory and holding a complete and verified IBMS specialist portfolio as per the essential criteria in the job description. This is not a Band 6 trainee position.
We may consider applications for a HCPC Registered Band 5 or trainee Biomedical Scientist if recent experience within histology laboratory is demonstrated within the application and holding an IBMS accredited degree (or equivalent).
