Position: Pharmacy Procurement (SATO)

Job Summary

This post is within the Pharmacy Procurement Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. It is a fast‑paced role requiring organisation, motivation, enthusiasm and an ability to multi‑task. The role will involve supporting pharmacy procurement and ordering systems with full training provided. Applicants must be educated to GCSE (or equivalent). Admin experience (keyboard skills, basic Excel, Microsoft Word & web‑based resources) is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the procurement and ordering of pharmacy supplies and equipment.
  • Work with team members to maintain accurate records and data entry.
  • Support the Pharmacy Procurement Team in meeting deadlines and managing workload.
  • Participate in flexible working including weekend, late duty and bank holiday rotas.
Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) and basic computer skills.
  • Admin experience including keyboard proficiency, basic Excel and Word.
  • Ability to communicate verbally, by telephone and email.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Right to work in the UK (not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship).
Working Pattern and Interview

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00. Interview date Tuesday 14 July 2026.
