Medical Education Administration Officer – Post Graduate Medical Education Team

An opportunity has arisen for a proactive, motivated and highly skilled candidate to take on the role of Medical Education Administration Officer in the Post Graduate Medical Education team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills. The post holder will work with a wide range of stakeholders including Resident doctors, SAS doctors, and external organisations linked to the role.

As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilitiesThis is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator with a willingness to learn various IT systems and an interest in screening data reports covering various expense claim circumstances for Resident doctors.
The post holder will provide comprehensive and professional responses to the more complex and challenging relocation and mileage queries from Resident doctors in training whilst ensuring that NHSE policies, procedures and guidance are adhered to.
It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to be confident in managing IT systems and running reports from Tableau and e‑induction completion reports.
The post holder should have high attention to detail and multi‑tasking skills. They would have an understanding of confidentiality and good customer care skills, with excellent communication in written, verbal and organisational experience.
It would be helpful if the successful candidate has experience of engaging in challenging conversations with clinicians regarding complex expense claims.
The post holder would work within normal office hours but on some occasions would have to work flexible hours to cover Resident doctors events or Clinical Examinations as required within the team.
Candidates should be highly efficient in the use of Databases, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams and PowerPoint.
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday 08:00 to 16:00
