Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant

£12.80 per hour plus company benefits.

32 hours per week including alternate weekend work.

Water meadow Grange in Topsham, Exeter is a beautiful care home providing 86 spacious ensuite bedrooms including a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia.

• Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness for the home, furnishings, equipment and linen.
• Perform laundry duties in line with clean-room protocols for patients and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, ensuring safety and compliance with care standards.
• Assist with organization of linens and supplies and maintain accurate stock controls.

• Physically and medically capable of carrying out duties with or without assistive aids.
• Previous housekeeping/laundry experience in a residential care setting.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Team player, self‑motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
• Strong organisation and workload prioritisation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
