Health, Safety Advisor

Join Devon and Cornwall Police as a Health & Safety Advisor! This temporary contract is based at Middlemoor, Exeter.

Hourly rate: £17.97 per hour. Working pattern:
Full Time.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on health and safety matters.
• Facilitate training sessions to promote awareness and compliance.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of safety.

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Proven experience in a health and safety role, ideally within public services.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
